Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city has officially reached certified Gold status. During his appearance on BET’s Don’t Sleep hosted by T.J. Holmes, the Compton rapper spoke about the achievement, saying that he owes 80 percent of those sales to word-of-mouth. Drake's October's Very Own Label Inks Deal With Warner Bros. Records
Drake has his eyes set on much bigger things that just being an artist. The Toronto emcee's October's Very Own label has inked a deal with Warner Bros. Records according to Billboard.
More details on the deal are expected to emerge on Wednesday.
While Drizzy will remain a solo artist with YMCMB, the deal with Warner Bros. will allow him to expand his brand along with his producer Noah "40" Shebib, which up until now has included clothing and the OVO Festival
