Destiny’s Child – "Nuclear"
They’re back! Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle reunite on “Nuclear,” their first original recording since 2004. Produced by Pharrell (who co-wrote the track with Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy, and Lonny Bereal), the uptempo track appears on their compilation Love Songs, due January 29.
The ladies will perform “Nuclear” as well as a medley of their greatest hits at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 3.

The two talked about his new mixtape, God Will’n features, a video for every mixtape track, God Will’n 2, God Will’n 3 dropping in 2013, Lil Wayne executive producing his “Born To Lose, Built To Win” album, having 15 unreleased tracks with Lil Wayne, his hiatus and much much more. A$AP Ferg Signs Solo Deal With Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records
Just days before A$AP Rocky’s Long.Live.A$AP releases on January 15, it looks like A$AP Ferg is the next member to take his career to new heights. In a recent press release, Ferg has inked a solo deal with Polo Grounds Music/RCA.
Ferg joins Rocky who is also signed to the label. He has quite a few viral hits under his belt—“A Hundred Million Roses,” “Persian Wine,” and the smash “Work.” The Harlem native’s first release under the new deal will be “Work,” which will hit iTunes on January 22.
“I’m just proud right now because this is everything we wished and hoped for,” said his music partner A$AP Rocky. “A$AP Ferg worked hard for this and I put all my faith and backing into him. I feel like ‘Work’ is our generation’s ‘Sippin On Some Syrup’ [by Three 6 Mafia and UGK] or ‘Chickenhead’ [by Project Pat, La Chat and Three 6 Mafia], it has that feeling.”
Aside from music, Ferg is working on his own clothing line called Trap Lord.

Timbaland To Have Busy 2013 Producing Justin Timberlake's Entire Album, Working With Beyonce & Assisting 50 Cent At SMS Audio
Super producer Timbaland is going to be really busy this year and he probably wouldn't have it any other way. The Virginia-based beat maker has three huge projects he will be devoting his time to in 2013.
To get things started, Timbaland is already working on Justin Timberlake's new album. The disc will be entirely-produced by Timbo, according to HipHopWired. The last time these two musical geniuses combined forces it produced magical results.
Justin's 2006 album FutureSex/LoveSounds was produced entirely by Timbaland. The project spawned the hits "SexyBack," "LoveStoned," "My Love" and "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around." The album won four Grammys and has been certified four-times platinum.
Timbaland will also lend his talents to Beyonce's upcoming fifth solo album. The singer confirmed the news during an interview with GQ.
"I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream," she told GQ. "We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us."
And last but certainly not least, Timbaland will be assisting 50 Cent at SMS Audio, where he is now an investment partner and member of the company’s board of directors.
"He invested and now he has equity ownership. He can help me in the decision making process while utilizing other acoustic engineers to get the highest sound quality possible." 50 said in a recent interview with MSN's Joseph Lee.
"50 Cent has created an aspirational audio brand that produces the highest caliber of headphones on the market,” said Timbaland in a statement. "I’m looking forward to working with 50 and being part of a company so eager to bring studio-quality sound to music fans all over the world.”

Last night, Twitter was active with tweets about Justin Timberlake’s cryptic announcement about a new single dropping today. Now, Billboard reports that JT will be releasing a full-length LP sooner than later.
A source confirms that Timbaland is producing the project. He worked with JT in the past on 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds. So far, the pair has believed to have 20 tracks already made.
Stay tuned for the single set to hit the Internet at 12 p.m. EST.

50 Cent Says There Is A Strong Possibility Of A G-Unit Reunion With Tony Yayo & Lloyd Banks
Fans have been dying to hear some new music from G-Unit, the group and very soon they may get their wish. During an interview with Billboard.biz, 50 Cent revealed that he, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks might be getting back into the studio together.
"People grow in different directions," 50 Cent says. "[They] have different agendas about things they want to do and they're sorting themselves out in that way and I'm focused on things that are important to me right now, but there's a strong possibility there will be a G-Unit [collaboration] with the three of us. But right now, I'm focused on my solo project."
G-Unit's last album was 2008's T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight).

Nas Says He’s Already Recording His Next Studio Album
While many hip-hop heads are still praising Life is Good, Nas is already has his sights sets on another album.
During an interview with AP, Nas revealed that he’s begun work on his untitled 12th studio album. The “Daughters” rapper also says he’s in the right state of mind.
“Yes. It has started. I must tell you. I can’t stop now. I’m in a great zone,” he said.
In the end of the interview, Nas also speaks on his favorite albums of 2012. He lists specifically Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill has artists he’s been feeling lately.
“No disrespect to nobody else in rap music, but Kendrick Lamar. I’m really happy about his record. I needed that. His record reaches you. It gives you hope. …Also, Meek Mill. His energy is amazing,” he said.
Talib Kweli Sets New Album Date; No Plans for Black Star
In the 15 years since Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey (then
Mos Def) released their hip-hop breakthrough together under the name
Black Star, the MCs have each issued an abundance of music while
maintaining only spurts of progress on material as a duo. Despite the
occasional late-night TV performance and their set at last year's
Bonnaroo, fans should not expect the follow-up album to Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star this year, Kweli tells Rolling Stone, due to his and Bey's devotion to individual projects.
Meanwhile, with almost a dozen solo and collaborative albums to his credit, Kweli will release Prisoner of Conscious on April 23rd. He tells Rolling Stone
the title reflects his attempt to shed, or at least redefine, the
"socially conscious rapper" label pinned to him since the Nineties.
"At the center of being socially conscious is your
community – it's where you come from, what type of person that it made
you, and how you give back to that. And it's a cycle," he said in a
phone interview. "With me it's like, 'Oh, he's a great lyricist,' but
they don't focus on the music. I think it's because of how I've been
sold and how I've been marketed as some sort of poster boy for
underground rap."
Kweli now controls that branding as an independent
artist, and he will release music, including an album from his
Reflection Eternal partner Hi-Tek, through Javotti, his own label. Four
years in the making, Prisoner of Conscious represents a more
nuanced selection of songs, which feature guests including Kendrick
Lamar, Nelly and Busta Rhymes. It retains the live instrumentation Kweli
incorporated on The Beautiful Struggle and Eardrum; a
sample of Eric B & Rakim's "Paid in Full" for the Trend-produced
song "Turnt Up" prevented a scheduled November release. The delay
allowed Kweli time to "rethink" the album, and he tacked on two more
songs in December.
"I tried to focus more on the musicality of the album
and make decisions based more on how the music feels, rather than make
decisions based on what I wanted to say," Kweli said. "This is the most
time I've ever spent on a record."
Work began on Prisoner of Conscious began well before Kweli released Gutter Rainbows
in 2011, and he has since juggled several projects, including various
mixtapes and albums with Idle Warship, his group with Res. Meanwhile,
Bey has continued his acting career with a role on Dexter. Though he hasn't released an album since The Ecstatic
in 2009, Bey has appeared on stage – most recently with Common last
month at the Bring Leonard Peltier Home event in New York – and is
working on music with producer Mannie Fresh. (Bey could not be reached
for this article.)
Black Star's future depends on timing and schedules.
One night in late 2011, while listening to Aretha Franklin records after
performing together, Bey and Kweli decided to explore making an
Aretha-themed mixtape. The next day they cut four tracks, among them
"Fix Up" and "You Already Knew." But other commitments have since taken
priority, Kweli said, adding, "I would love to get back into it whenever
he's ready."

Vado Talks Leaving Interscope, A$AP Rocky, and Slime Flu 3
Four years. That’s how long it’s been since Harlem spitter Vado first emerged on the scene alongside fellow Uptown mainstay Cam’Ron for the twosome’s Boss of All Bosses tag-team mixtape in 2009. It was from there that the rapper, under Cam’s guidance, transformed from the latter’s trusty mixtape sidekick to a leader of New York’s new wave—performing on Summer Jam’s mainstage, releasing a respectable offering in Slime Flu and signing a deal with Interscope—all in the span of a year and a half. The young Slime was quickly championed as the next to blow out of the city. However, after 2011’s lukewarm Slime Flu 2, things stalled, leaving many wondering if V-Don would ever recapture the momentum he fostered following joints like “Speakin’ Tungs,” “Hey Muma” and more.
Now off hiatus and back on his grizzly, Vado is ready for his proper re-introduction, and plans to deliver that with the threequel to his Slime Flu series, Slime Flu 3. This time riding for dolo, V-12 proves that he’s “back and coming hard, like I never left.” Speaking to XXL, Vado touches on his Interscope deal, his relationship with Cam’Ron, Slime Flu 3 and more.—Ralph Bristout (@RalphieBlackmon)
XXL: Last we heard from you, you signed that Interscope deal. Soon after things got quiet.
The Interscope deal, if you want me to be honest with you, I feel like I shouldn’t have even went all the way to the West Coast. I feel I should’ve stayed grounded with the New York labels. They understand and know me so they know how to handle me, they know what to do. You go all the way over there; they don’t know what’s going on. So now, I gotta fix everything up and I gotta work with their music. It was just a whole big difference to the point that I had to ask for my walking papers.
Just like that, you were able to leave Interscope?
Yeah. They were really under construction over there anyway so, they were like, Aight well here you go; you’re welcome to leave. I’d rather leave on that note than getting dropped or something.
So contrary to the rumors, you weren’t dropped from the label.
Never. I was never dropped. They gave me too much money. I walked off. They gave me the opportunity to leave so I left. They [weren’t] helping me in no shape or form. For example, with Chief Keef, they just threw his album out there without even building it or nothing. Interscope is the type where you just got to do it on your own. So you know like, TDE is helping Kendrick, Game is doing everything on his own, from getting the features and beats and putting it out on his own, so it’s sort of like play at your own risk over there. So I had to get back over here. I’m not over there on the West, I’m over here with people that’s seen me grow up at these labels. This is where I wanna be and they want me here.
So at the end of the day, did the whole Interscope situation become a learning experience for you?
Yeah, most definitely. As far as for the haters, good talents like me can’t be off the market for too long. You’ll hear eventually, trust me.
After your emergence on the scene, new talent started coming out of Harlem left and right. Most notably, A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Mob.
I respect A$AP honestly because, he came under us, and when I say “under us,” I mean Most Hated, he’s from Harlem. A$AP Ferg, he’s from Harlem. So they seen how we came up, the same way we seen Children of the Corn came up—when they were just doing talent shows and just doing stuff in Harlem, but we knew about them so they knew about us as far as me, Jae Millz, Charlie Clips and etc. When I finally got on, I’m sure it was definitely a motivation but they always was doing what they had to do.
Now on this hiatus of yours, many began counting you out as far as your position as one of NY’s rising talents. Did that affect you in any way?
They just wanted to know what was going on with me. At the end of the day this life comes with a lot, it’s not just music. You gotta have your business right, your family tight, and to be honest, everything wasn’t right but the music. Only thing [that] was right was the music. So I had to handle other things and went through that process of getting everything else situated. Everything is tight now so now it’s just back to work.
It seems you’ve still got a lot of fan support even after your break, which is often unlikely for new artists.
It’s real; they can’t leave what’s real. Real never gets sold. If I don’t come out for a minute and I come back with something, you’re gonna wanna hear it ’cause you know what he kickin’ gonna be some real shit. You know it’s gonna give you goosebumps ’cause its gonna be something that you probably go through day-to-day in the hood. So, you want to hear that anyway. It’s kind of like, every time you hear ’Kiss or Jeezy—they gonna give you goose bumps because its day-to-day stuff that they talking about.
And now you’re back with Slime Flu 3. Tell us about it.
Slime Flu 3 is straight hip-hop. It brings you to the ’90s but also gives you that 2K flavor and style. It’s all the way ’90s as far as lyrics and concepts. It’s real. I’m not even gonna lie, SF3 is a mixtape that I like. Meaning I gave what I wanted to give, I didn’t change up nothing, nobody told me, “Nah that’s not hot, do this.” It’s what I wanted to give. But, Slime Flu 1 was what I wanted to give too. Slime Flu 2 was more of a lot of songs I was recording in L.A. trying to build the right songs for Interscope so that they could push it. So a lot of the music on SF2 was that.
Maybe that explains why it didn’t receive the same acclaim as the first Slime Flu.
It wasn’t my best. I didn’t get the props I got like on Slime Flu 1 so for 3, I just gave them what I wanted and what I liked and it’s take it or not.
What are some of your favorite cuts off the mixtape?
A song called “Killa” with me, Fred Da Godson and Jae Millz—that’s fire. The closer “When I Die.” I got a joint with Gunplay titled “55″ which is [dope]. Of course “Awards,” “My Team Go,” “Bad Bitches.” My favorite out of all the ones I mentioned [would have to be] “Awards” with AraabMuzik on the beat, it’s hard to me. Everybody love when I’m with Araab and how we get down. The hook on that record meant a lot to me because that’s how it was, I felt it. It was [originally] a bar, but I was like, Nah I gotta make this the hook, they need to hear this.
You’ve got another Araab-produced record that could be a problem once it arrives, called “Sleep on Me.”
[Laughs] Yeah, that’s my joint. You know, me and Araab, it’s just non-stop. There was one time where the labels, when they found out that I was in the market, they were reaching out and was like, Yo please we’ll sign you tomorrow, just give us a bunch of songs with you and Araab. They didn’t want no other production, just Araab.
You need to make that happen—soon.
Yeah, believe that. But he’s been on the road since we got popping. He’s doing shows constantly.
Once Slime Flu 3 drops, where will you take it from there?
Just really showing the Most Hated movement—getting back to showing
the movement. We’re soon gonna pull out a Most Hated album with just the
team. It’s all just about going back to the movement. I’m so close to
deals so really that’s going to allow me to break out and just tear shit
up. This here is just to let people know I’m back and I’m coming hard,
like I never left.How about the U.N. movement? What’s your relationship with Cam?
Cam is a big homey to me. He put me on, he like the Godfather of Harlem. He’s the only one to keep it a hundred, he’s the only artist from Harlem that put other artists on and moved them up out the ‘hood.
He turned a lot people from having 212 area codes to 201s. To keep it a hundred, at the end of the day there’s never no problem with Cam. He put me on and gave me this opportunity. There’s no issue at all. But you know,at the end of the day, Jaffe is Jaffe. So, it all depends—you know, when you ask him that question, it all depends on how his day is going [Laughs]. But nah, there’s no problem. It was just time to go to the roof. He took me to the Promised Land, now its time for me to go beyond it. Outer space.
After the Interscope deal fell through, do you have reservations about signing to another major?
Nah. I feel like an artist like me, I don’t have to, but I should go major. I need a big stage. You not gonna put Kobe Bryant in the NBDL [National Basketball Development League]? You know what I’m saying? I need a big stage, I’m coming for that spotlight. Before I even go indie, I got to do the big stage. Real talk, the sky is the limit.

Beyonce Nearly Naked on Sexy GQ Cover, Reaches Out to OMG Girlz
Beyonce gave the OMG Girlz a major shout out with one of her famous hand written notes while her sexy GQ magazine cover has leaked.
The young trio has made it clear that Beyonce is one of their idols and they even listed off “7 Reasons Why Beyonce is Such a Baddie.”
This time around, however, Queen Bey wants the girls to know that they have inspired her as well.
As it turns out, Beyonce’s Instagram name “Baddie Bey” came from the spunky R&B and hip hop trio.
“Hey Beautiful Young Ladies,” Beyonce wrote on the note that she later posted on Instagram. “Thank you so much for the sweet things yall said. You named my Instagram !!FYI!!”
In addition to giving them props for the social media moniker,
Jay-Z’s wife also told the little ladies how proud she was of them.“I’m very proud of you ladies,” the note concluded. “I hope to see you soon.”
Needless to say she even signed the note as “Baddie B.”

The sporty shoot is just in time to add some more anticipation to the “Countdown” singer’s Super Bowl Halftime performance next month.
