Maxim Interview: April Cover Girl Danielle "Topanga" Fishel

According to Urban Dictionary, Topanga means “beautiful or spectacular.” This isn’t a reference to the natural splendor of the canyon outside L.A.; it’s in honor of a TV character played by the gorgeous Danielle Fishel. The 31-year-old portrayed a smart, sassy teen by that name on the ’90s coming-of-age sitcom Boy Meets World. The show followed the exploits of typical teen Cory (Ben Savage), his pal Shawn (Rider Strong), and his girlfriend, Topanga. Well, our favorite couple is getting back together for a sequel series, Girl Meets World, in which Cory and Topanga are now the parents of a teenage girl. To celebrate this momentous pop-culture occasion, Danielle agreed to fulfill our decades-old fantasy and pose for a shoot of historic proportions. Please enjoy, and don’t worry…we won’t tell Mr. Feeny.

"When I call it a short film, I don’t just call it that for the sake of the album. So that’s a hint," explained Kendrick Lamar not too long ago with GQ.

It nows seems that everything is finally getting together as he just told Fuse that a collab with Shia LaBeouf was in the work.

"We actually had a meeting… Shia LaBeouf, he has a crazier career than mine, but once we really do sit down and lock in, it’s gonna be insane… He wanted to do a video, he had a few ideas… that was the time I was recording the album and going on the road so I couldn’t really sit down for a period of time."

Is Kendrick talking about just a Music Video? Or a potential Short Film like LaBeouf did when he directed the short film, "Maniac," which featured Kid Cudi.

During a performance at the Key Club in Hollywood, Meth made it clear that a Wu-Tang Clan reunion album will be dropping later this year.

"This year will be [the Wu-Tang Clan's] twentieth anniversary," said Meth. "How many brothas kept a job for twenty years? The same job. That's the sh*t. We owe that sh*t to each and every fan that ever supported our music, and that's real talk."

He also confirmed that the new album release date would coincide with the anniversary. "On that note, man, we got an anniversary coming up. The Wu-Tang anniversary album coming up, we working on that now. Some nice treats on there. This year. This fuc*ing year."

French Montana chopped it up with Power 99 recently about his rise to the top and being considered the new "king of New York". He also spoke about his father popping up on World Star after not seeing or hearing from him for years.

He was eventually asked about the controversial 9-year-old rapper, Lil Poopy and whether or not he is actually signed to French's "Coke Boys" label. French responded quickly by simply saying "hell no".

He also addressed the Uncle Luke situation and how he didn't pay him for French's hit song "Pop That" because Luke didn't own the rights to the beat. He finished off by talking about the new steamy video shoot he did with Nicki Minaj.
