YG Teaches Sway LA Lingo and Freestyles in-studio on Sway in the Morning

Kendrick Lamar has done a great job depicting the west coast’s m.a.a.d city of Compton lately, but YG recently stopped by Sway in the Morning to explain the Bompton side of it and brought along super-producer, DJ Mustard, to help.

While in-studio they explained the difference between the Re’d Up 1 mixtape, versus the Re’d Up 2, taught Sway some LA lingo and the Cali boys even got a surprise call from a hip hop pioneer.

If you’re wondering about YG’s collaborative mixtape with Nipsey Hussle, yes the Two of America’s Most Wanted project is still on it’s way. You can expect that later this year — but in the meantime, enjoy this Young Gangsta’s freestyle below.

Fun Fact: Young Jeezy’s R.I.P record was meant for YG, but he turned it down.
