He also shared memories from his emotional Detroit homecoming and provided insight into his second album Hall of Fame, due in early 2013.

Lil Wayne to Perform at GQ Super Bowl Party
Lil Wayne is headed home for Super Bowl XLVII. The New Orleans rapper will perform during the weekend-long festivities.

“As a lifelong sports fan and a proud New Orleans native, I am thrilled to partner with GQ, a publication that has long supported me, for this year’s party,” said Wayne.
The invite-only event will take place at the historic Elm’s Mansion on St. Charles Avenue in the city’s Garden District. Past GQ party performers include CeeLo Green and LL Cool J.
“I ain’t got no worries,” added the Young Money boss, “that this will be the best Super Bowl party ever.”
The following day, Beyoncé will play her biggest gig yet during the Super Bowl halftime show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The Parris-directed video was recently shot and Young Money HQ has revealed the first pics from the set.
Weezy and 2 Chainz go way back. “That’s my friend. That’s not my rap buddy. That’s my real friend,” Tunechi previously told DJ Drama. “I know that guy when he didn’t know how to make no words rhyme. He’s ‘Tity baby, put it in the air’ for me. And all of a sudden this guy is killing it, he murdered the show. I was like, ‘That can’t be him up there.’ It’s weird to me.”
The two will hit the road together on Weezy’s European arena tour beginning in March. Click here for tour dates.
In addition to 2 Chainz, I Am Not a Human Being II is expected to feature contributions from David Banner, StreetRunner, Kane Beatz, Cool & Dre, Juicy J, and a collaboration with Drake and Future.

Breeding Ground Spotlight – Joey Bada$$
There are few MCs to accomplish what this Brooklyn spitter has accomplished in a career, let alone by the age of 17. Joey Bada$$ is young, talented, and shall we say, a “bad a$$” rapper. Being part of Cinematic Music Group has help him to grow alongside the likes of Smoke DZA (#BGA), Big KRIT, and a roster of other talent to learn from. These days, Joey is blazing his own lane by spearheading the Pro Era collective.
Joey and Pro Era hosted a show in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and AllHipHop.com spoke with they young rappers backstage about Brooklyn, his musical influences, and his collaboration with Ab-Soul (#BGA).
Take a look at AllHipHop.com’s interview with Joey Bada$$, along with some behind the scenes footage of his visit to NBC’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”:

Joe Budden Says New Slaughterhouse Project Will “Be Like a Whole New Group”
In this interview with FuseTV, Joe Budden says that the next time fans hear a Slaughterhouse project, the guys will be in a different place than they were while recording welcome to: OUR HOUSE. “I’m real anxious to work on the next Slaughterhouse project,” he said. “We all—and, not to break anybody’s anonymity, but I will—we all battled a lot of demons recording that last album. And I think we managed to beat them all. Like, I was high recording that entire album. And I was probably high doing all the interviews, as well. I’m not longer that. Royce doesn’t drink Patron anymore. Crook doesn’t drink. Joell doesn’t drink. So, this next Slaughterhouse project, it’s almost going to be like a whole new group. I can’t wait.”

T.I. Advocates The Right To Have Assault Weapons. Says He Never Snitched On Anyone "Who's In Prison Right Now That Can Say T.I. Put Me Here?"
T.I. visited Hot 97 recently to promote his new album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, but the conversation quickly turned to the issue of gun control.
"This is my problem right now and stepping in right now and the ban of anything. What that does is only the criminals are going to be allowed to have this particular item," Tip said. "Because it's criminals that right now can't have assault rifles, pistols, fully (automatics), or nothing and they got them and they know they can't have them so you think if they ban them its gonna be double illegal for me now? I'm still going to carry mine. So if the illegals have them, I think the legals must have them."
The subject of whether Tip ever snitched or not also came up. The Grand Hustle CEO denied ever snitching on anyone.
"I ain't ever been in no segregation man. I always been in gen pop all the time," Tip explained. "I turned in my paperwork. when you turn in your paperwork it's called a paperwork party. They look at it on the yard. Everybody gets to observe it and whatnot. They know exactly what to look for... your court minutes. That means every time you done walked in the courtroom. What you have said, what the judge said. Your plea agreement. That means in order for you to get this plea what it is you go to come forth with. And they got to submit this stuff. If you wanna have an online Wi-Fi paperwork party, Clifford J. Harris 59458019 is my number. Who am I gonna be able to tell on and they not say in prison right now T.I. put me here? Everybody wants to believe that because if they would have got caught in those situations that's what would have happened to them."

Kevin Hart Fuses Comedy & Reality On ‘Real Husbands Of Hollywood’ [SNEAK PEEK]
When it comes to original programming, BET is riding hard for the Kevin Hart-led comedy series “Real Husbands of Hollywood.”
What began as a well-received sketch at the 2011 BET Awards had blossomed into one of the most anticipated shows coming to television in January. the show centers around Kevin Hart and his group of friends with celebrity wives.
Alongside Kevin Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Robin Thicke, Duane Martin, and Nick Cannon are set to star in the series. If it’s anything like the sketches on the BET Awards, this is going to be the best show BET has aired in a long time. Judging from the preview, the show will deliver on all fronts.
Peep the sneak peek for yourself.

David Banner, Jill Scott & More Weigh In On Gun Control In The U.S.
As details emerged of the killings at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut that claimed the lives of 26 people, condemnation of the act was pretty much universal. Except for some extreme religious zealots, no one could justify the lives that were lost, especially those of the 20 children.
However, there has been considerable debate on what to do about gun violence, in particular if there should be more gun control in the United States. Many entertainers expressed their feelings both for and against increased gun control on social media outlets like Twitter:
There are those who favor more gun control…

Kevin Hart Shares Thoughts On Being Hottest Comedian In The Game
Comedian Kevin Hart is probably having the best year of his life, let alone his career. All of the films he was apart of were critical and commercial successes. His stand-up comedy tour was one of the biggest tours of the year and he’s working on the hotly anticipated show “Real Husbands of Hollywood” for BET.
Hart sat down with his friend and former co-star Terrence J to discuss the amazing success 2012 has brought him. Considering how much of a clown Kevin Hart is, it should come as no surprise Terrence J can’t stop laughing throughout the brief interview. Kevin even goes as far as starting a rumor that he’s a sex symbol.
Check out Kevin Hart and Terrence J enjoying the crown life in the video below.
Raekwon Gives Back to Hurricane Sandy Victims of Staten Island
Raekwon is reaching out and making a difference in the lives of Hurricane Sandy victims affected in Staten Island. The Chef raised awareness by holding a fundraiser at Club Jaguars 3 in Brooklyn last Thursday night (December 13). The benefit generated money for the residents of Staten Island who lost everything as a result of the natural disaster. Most people often refer to Staten Island as the “forgotten borough,” but Rae says he can’t sit back and do nothing for those who were directly affected by the devastation of the storm.
“My city [Staten Island] got hit pretty hard, and not only my city, but other parts of New York period. When it affected Staten Island, it affected me even more because that’s where I am from. And it’s so crazy that we got hit the hardest. So my heart and my mind is telling me, ‘Yo, you can do something,’ you know what I mean? I just had to wait until I was able to do it in a right way and create something and say, ‘Listen I’m giving back.’”
Ghostface Killah joined Rae on stage to help spread the word to the fans in the audience, as well as support his brother for the worthy cause. In fact, several artists jumped on Twitter to show a tremendous amount of love to Rae for his efforts to raise funds and awareness. Some of the more famous tweets came from Busta Rhymes, Angela Yee, Billy Danze, 2 Chainz, Peter Rosenberg and Fat Joe.
Rae expressed that President Obama’s visit to S.I. brought things to a higher plateau. He added, “I don’t know the circumstances of what it was, I just know that Obama did come, the President rather, came to Staten Island when he had an opportunity and took a look. And that to me; that eliminates everything else. That means that we was recognized on the most highest scale for the President to come and check it out. So that meant a lot to me.”
The Chef says he went to Staten Island to survey the damage for himself and was deeply affected by it. He wanted to give back in his own special way and didn’t want to simply provide his money to a charity. “It would have been easy to give money to the Red Cross but that ain’t what it’s about to me. So I wanted to really be more hands on and really take a look inside.”
Proceeds from last night’s event will go to the Staten Island families and the victims of Hurricane Sandy. “If you love people like I love people and you realize how many people have helped my life, you would consider doing stuff like this. It’s about being hands on. It’s more than just the money, it’s the opportunity to touch people and talk to them and get in their face and say, ‘Yo I feel this or yo I can help, or yo I can’t help.’ It’s being a real person.” —Chanel Clark (@ChanellyJelly)
